Lidar Map Beta
This is a self-contained map that instead of depending on state-provided Lidar imagery (see the main ArcGIS map), generates custom Lidar-based slope and hillshade images around the canal from DEM (digital elevation model) files offered by CT ECO and MassGIS.
Use the controls to switch between slope (color shaded) and hillshade, adjust layer opacity, explore locks and other notable places. View and navigate via the canal elevation profile generated from the DEM files along the canal line.
